Solar activity is moderate to high, with background X-ray flux at C-class levels. An X1.1 is the largest flare observed from AR4298 in the past 24 hours. There are eight sunspot regions on the visible solar disk, with simple to complex magnetic configurations. The solar wind speed is at background levels, ranging from 392-400 km/s. A few filaments and prominences show slight movement and will be monitored for any potential lift-offs. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed during the past 24 hours. Geomagnetic conditions were at quiet to unsettled levels (Kp 0-3). Local HF working frequencies are near the monthly predicted values.
