Solar activity is low to moderate with background X-ray flux at upper B-class levels. An M1.1 solar flare is the largest observed from AR4409 on 09 April 2026 at 08:45 UT in the past 24 hours. There are three sunspot regions on the visible solar disk with simple magnetic configuration. The solar wind speed is at background to slightly elevated levels with speed ranging between 350 - 420 km/s due to the onset of high-speed stream (HSS) from coronal hole 39 (CH39/+). There are few filaments and prominences that show movement and will be monitored for any potential lift-offs. No confirmed Earth-directed coronal mass ejections (CMEs) were observed in the available coronagraph imagery. Geomagnetic conditions are at quiet to active levels (Kp 1-4). Local HF working frequencies are near monthly predicted values.
